If this is the first time you've heard of this company then keep your ears wide open ... umh umh .. your eyes, because you may well want to participate in the success of this great adventure founded by Cynthia Savard ( what's more, from Rimouski), which produces yoga and sportswear from recycled materials. Yes yes, you read that right ...

Let us say it to us, it is in tune with the times to want to find solutions to environmental problems and to want to reduce (see eliminate) as much as possible our ecological footprint. Here is what ORAKI offers, for each new item of clothing, 10 to 12 plastic bottles are recycled, transformed into plastic thread and then finally used to make the superb leggings which are currently on the store floor.

Je pourrais vous en parler pendant un long moment tellement je suis impressionnée de tous les efforts qui sont mis en oeuvre du début de la production jusqu'à leur distribution, mais je vous invite plutôt à venir nous voir ou bien d'aller lire sur cette incroyable ligne qui m'étais tout à fait inconnue il y a de cela quelques jours. C'est réellement passionnant et surtout encourageant de voir qu'il est possible de créer des vêtements confortables, durables et surtout éco-responsables. Ahhh oui j'oubliais ! Et par dessus tout, c'est tellement beau ! De belles coupes feminines, de beaux imprimés colorés effectués par sublimation, une technique des plus écologique et tout ceci fait au Québec... Que voulez de plus ? Moi je suis vendue et vous ?
